Passive Sampling with Active Carbon Fibres in the Determination of Organic Pollutants in Groundwater

Legislation addressing the quality of groundwater and increasing concerns over public health calls for development analytical methods that can produce accurate precise results at ppt level. Passive sampling has been recognised as a helpful tool in identifying various organic pollutants groundwater, even when their presence had not yet identified through conventional monitoring. The article presents an method involving simple cost-effective passive device using Zorflex® activated carbon fibres (ACFs) qualitative monitoring broad range water single run. applicability developed was tested three hydrogeological studies.
